“It’s Time to Love Your Hair” CONTEST

OFFICIAL RULES 

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. 

1. Sponsor 

This contest (the “Contest”) is sponsored by JVN Beauty LLC (“Sponsor”). The Contest is conducted on behalf of the JVN Hair brand and may be promoted via jvnhair.com and Sponsor's social media channels. 

2. Contest Description 

The Contest invites eligible individuals to submit a nomination (the “Entry”) explaining why they should be selected to travel to New York City to receive a hair styling session performed by Jonathan Van Ness (the “Prize Experience”). Winner(s) will be selected based on merit, as judged against the criteria in Section 6, not by random drawing. 

3. Eligibility 

To be eligible to enter and win, an individual must, at the time of entry and at all times thereafter through prize fulfillment: 

This Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Sponsor reserves the right to require proof of eligibility, including government-issued ID and proof of address, prior to prize fulfillment. 

4. Contest Period 

The Contest begins on 7/26/26 12:01 AM PST and ends on 8/12/26 11:59 PM PST (the “Contest Period”). Entries submitted before or after the Contest Period will not be considered. Sponsor's server clock is the official timekeeper. 

5. How to Enter 

During the Contest Period, visit  https://forms.gle/2aW9sp7NdgixAwjN8 and submit required fields. 

Entrants may submit multiple Entries during the Contest Period. However, Sponsor reserves the right... to disqualify and void any and all Entries submitted by an entrant whose volume or pattern of submissions indicates an attempt to flood, manipulate, or unfairly influence the Contest, whether or not made by automated means. 

Entries generated by scripts, macros, third-party entry services, or other automated means are void. 

Entry is free. No purchase, payment, or transaction of any kind is required at any point in the entry process. 

Entry Content Standards: Entries must be original to the entrant and must not contain content that is defamatory, obscene, infringing, or that violates the rights of any third party. Sponsor may disqualify any Entry that violates these Official Rules or that Sponsor deems inappropriate in its sole discretion. By submitting an Entry, entrant grants Sponsor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display the Entry in connection with the Contest and its promotion, as further described in Section 11. 

6. Judging Criteria and Selection 

Entries will be evaluated by a panel of qualified judges consisting of JVN Hair marketing team members (the “Judges”), based on the overall quality, authenticity, and creativity of the Entry, and its alignment with the Contest theme, as determined by the Judges in their sole and absolute discretion. Judges may weigh these and any other factors they deem relevant, and are not required to apply fixed or disclosed weighting to any factor. 

In the event of a tie, Sponsor will select the winner via an additional round of judging by the same panel. All judging decisions are final and not subject to appeal. 

Odds of winning depend on the number and quality of eligible Entries received 

Sponsor will select up to three (3) potential winners. No guest or companion is included as part of the Prize. 

7. Prize Description 

Each winner's prize (the “Prize”) consists of: 

Winners are encouraged to travel with carry-on luggage only. Any checked baggage fees, if incurred, are the sole responsibility of the winner. 

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of the Prize: $1,999. Actual value may vary based on travel origin, seasonal airfare, and hotel rates. 

All elements of the Prize not expressly listed above (including but not limited to incidentals, baggage fees, travel insurance, souvenirs, gratuities, and personal expenses) are the sole responsibility of the winner. 

No cash alternative, substitution, or transfer of the Prize is permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised Prize (or any element of it, including Jonathan Van Ness's availability) becomes unavailable for any reason. 

Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with acceptance of the Prize. If the ARV is $2000 or more, Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099 to the winner. 

8. Winner Notification and Verification 

Potential winner(s) will be notified by email within 7 days of judging. Potential winner(s) must respond within 2 days of notification and complete and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and (where legal) Publicity Release (collectively, the “Release Documents”) as a condition of receiving the Prize. Failure to respond, sign, and return the Release Documents within the stated time, or failure to meet eligibility requirements, may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner from the remaining eligible Entries, at Sponsor's sole discretion. 

9. Conditions of Acceptance and Release 

By entering, entrants agree to: (a) comply with and be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor and the Judges, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest; and (b) release, indemnify, and hold harmless Sponsor, its parent Belle Brands, affiliated brands, Jonathan Van Ness and his business entities, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance, use, or misuse of the Prize, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, allergic or adverse reaction to any product or service (including hair styling, color, or chemical treatment), death, property damage, or travel-related incident, except where such liability cannot be released as a matter of law.

Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the Prize constitutes winner's consent for Sponsor and its affiliates to use winner's name, city/state of residence, photograph, image, voice, statements, and Entry content, in any and all media now known or later developed, worldwide, in perpetuity, for advertising and promotional purposes related to the Contest, without additional compensation, review, or approval, and without notice. 

12. General Conditions 

Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, modify, or extend the Contest, or these Official Rules, if fraud, technical failure, unauthorized human intervention, or any other factor beyond Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Contest, subject to applicable law. 

Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process, violating these Official Rules, or acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. 

13. Limitation of Liability 

The Released Parties are not responsible for: (a) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants or by any equipment or programming; (b) technical failures of any kind, including malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (c) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process; (d) late, lost, undeliverable, damaged, or misdirected entries; or (e) any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer or mobile device relating to participation in the Contest. 

14. Privacy 

Personal information collected in connection with the Contest will be used in accordance with Sponsor's Privacy Policy, available at jvnhair.com/policies/privacy-policy and will be used to administer the Contest and, if consented to, for marketing purposes.
