This pre-shampoo treatment was formulated to deliver benefits in the first 10-15 minutes. We do not recommend using it overnight as this will not amplify the benefits of the product and the golden hue could transfer onto your sheets.

Is Pre-Wash Scalp Oil safe for color treated hair?

Yup, this gentle formula is safe for color treated hair.

Should I apply Pre-Wash Scalp Oil to wet or dry hair?

We recommend gently massaging our Pre-Wash Scalp Oil into your scalp and running it through your hair when it is dry 10-15 minutes before shampooing with your fave JVN shampoo.

Clean scalp
I use this clarifying scalp oil 10-15 minutes before washing with Embody Volumizing Shampoo. I like to fill the dropper up and then deposit dabs around my scalp then massage with fingertips and distribute to hair a bit. It keeps my scalp healthy and clean and I love it so much!

I have used this once, but it's great for a sensitive scalp. Didn't burn or feel like chemicals. You will probably use a little more shampoo after this to wash it off well. I will keep using it to see what happens!
