How much Air Dry Cream should I use?

Air Dry Cream offers buildable hold, which means that the hold becomes stronger the more product you apply. We suggest starting with a pea-sized amount and adding more until you find the perfect amount for you.

Can I blow dry with Air Dry Cream?

Air Dry Cream works well when using a low-heat diffuser method. If you are trying to achieve a blowout style, we would recommend our Blowout Styling Milk for up to 450° of heat protection and 48 hours of heat-activated style memory.

Can I use Air Dry Cream as a curl cream?

Absolutely! Air Dry Cream works beautifully as a curl cream for defining your curls, coils and waves while keeping frizz under control.

Should I use Air Dry Cream on wet or dry hair?

You can do both. Apply to damp hair for easy air dry styling or dry hair to touchup frizz & flyaways or to achieve a slick back look.

Does Air Dry Cream have heat protection?

Air Dry Cream is intended to be used as an air dry or low-heat diffuser styling product, so it does not have heat protection built in. Applying Leave-In Conditioning Mist or Instant Recovery Serum first will provide up to 450° heat protection.

I have been using JVN air dry cream since 2022! Im a hairstylist abd have gotten at least (probably more) 1/3 of my clientele on this cream! I prefer to gently but firmly scrunch it in vs the prayer hand method. This product made my clients fall in love with our curls.

My curly hair savior
I have fine curly hair and I love this product because it shapes my curls beautifully, reduces frizz, provides structure, and most importantly, doesn’t weigh my curls down. Having fine hair I have to be careful about really heavy products that weigh my curls down. Air Dry Cream helps me through my refresh days since I don’t need to apply any extra product. Simply getting my hair wet with a spray bottle and redefining my curls with a brush and diffuser is all I need. I could skip the diffuse on my refresh days but since my hair benefits from the extra volume I keep it in my routine.
